Storm Water Management
- Post-development 1.5 year, 24-hour peak discharge rate and quantity don’t exceed pre-development conditions
- Storm water treatment has at least an 80 percent reduction in total suspended solids and a 40 percent reduction in total phosphorus
Water Efficient Landscaping
- Potable water consumption for irrigation has been reduced by at least 50 percent through high efficiency irrigation technology and the use of drought-tolerant and native plants
Ozone Protection
- Heating, ventilating, air conditioning and cooling (HVAC) systems don’t contain hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFSs) or halons
Recycled Content
- Recycled scrap materials during construction
- Project achieved a combined recycled content value of 30.68 percent of the total materials by cost, compared to the 45 percent default value
- Received an innovation credit
- Used recycled products in construction
- 45.48 percent of the building’s materials were manufactured using raw materials harvested within 500 miles of the project site

- 84.95 percent of the building’s materials were manufactured within 500 miles of the project site

Indoor Air Quality Management Plan
- Followed and implemented an indoor air quality plan
- Installed filters with a MERV (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) 13 rating

- Conducted a two-week building flush with 100 percent outside air
Low-Emitting Materials
- Use low-emitting adhesives and sealants
- Carpeting complies with the Carpet Rug Institute (CRI) Green Label Program
Thermal Comfort
- Installed temperature and humidity control ranges to maintain indoor comfort
- Installed a permanent temperature and humidity monitoring system that operates during all seasons
- Designed to provide feedback that will allow operators to maintain thermal comfort
